PEGAZUS: 'Ready For A Much Bigger, Better And Totally Rockin' 2008'

January 10, 2008

Guitarist Johnny Stoj of the long-running Australian heavy metal band PEGAZUS has issued the following update:

"2007 turned out to be a very awkward and testing time for the band. Vocalist Rob Thompson suffered the unfortunate personal loss of his young daughter, Allanah, who passed away in the middle of the year from a tragic road accident. Bass player Joe Fata was also forced to leave the band due to an ongoing illness. He has been replaced by former PEGAZUS bassist Cory Betts, who you guys would remember from having played on the band's past two studio albums, 'The Headless Horseman' and 'Breaking the Chains'. We welcome Cory back to the band.

"We will resume work on the new studio album now that we are into the New Year!

"The whole band is now back into full swing ready for a much bigger, better and totally rockin' 2008, with a new studio album definitely being recorded and released this year and loads of other great things also in the pipeline."
